Yamaha Motorcycles: Current Lineup, News and Reviews

Yamaha is a motorcycle maker headquartered in Iwata and founded in 1955. Its official motorcycles site lists the current range. The emblem of interlocking tuning forks nods to the company’s musical roots, which go back to the late 19th century. Yamaha still takes part in a wide variety of on- and off-road competition. It is known for the breadth of its lineup, which spans sport bikes, nakeds, retro models, touring and adventure bikes, cruisers, dual-sports, scooters and off-road machines.

That breadth means the range covers riders at very different stages. It includes the PW50 novice dirt bike and TT-R trail bikes, smaller road bikes such as the YZF-R3, MT-03 and V Star 250, and scooters such as the XMAX and Zuma 125. It also includes larger sport, naked, touring and adventure bikes such as the YZF-R1, MT-10, Tracer 9 GT and Tenere 700, while the YZ and WR lines serve off-road competition. Model availability differs by market, so check the official site for your region.
